Thing - Generative AI

We are busy preparing this module. Watch this space!

Whilst that’s happening, to select an emoji twemoji for the Generative AI Thing, we asked one example of a generative AI, ChatGPT, what it would choose for itself.

ChatGPT: As an AI language model, I don’t have a personal emoji representation. However, if ChatGPT were to have an emoji to represent itself, it could be something like 🤖 to symbolize its AI nature and robotic intelligence.

Sadly the robot twemoji is used for the Computer Anatomy Thing, so we asked ChatGPT for it’s next choice.

ChatGPT: If the robot emoji is not an option, another suitable emoji to represent ChatGPT could be 🧠. This emoji depicts a brain, which symbolizes intelligence, thinking, and knowledge—the core attributes of an AI language model like ChatGPT.

We were not to keen on that choice, so we asked again.

ChatGPT: If both the robot and brain emojis are not available, another potential emoji to represent ChatGPT could be 📚. This emoji represents books and learning, which aligns with the knowledge and language understanding capabilities of ChatGPT. It signifies a source of information and expertise, reflecting the AI model’s ability to provide answers and engage in conversations.

That twemoji was already in use for the Digital Storytelling Thing. Choosing twemojis for Things turns out to be a complicated business. So we asked again, and this time we were in luck.

ChatGPT: Apologies for the limitations in emoji options. In that case, an alternative emoji to represent ChatGPT could be 🌐. This emoji represents the globe or the world, symbolizing the global reach and interconnectedness of ChatGPT’s knowledge and communication abilities. It signifies the ability to provide information and engage in conversations across different cultures and languages.

So that’s settled. We thanked ChatGPT for its responses.

ChatGPT: You’re welcome! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. I’m here to help!
